SIR CHRIS HOY MBE

Sir Chris Hoy MBE is a multiple world champion track cyclist and one of the most successful Olympic cyclists of all time, with six gold medals and one silver to his name. Chris is the first Briton since 1908 to win three gold medals in a single Olympic Games.

At PACE, Chris will be hosting daily guided cycle rides for intermediate to advanced abilities.

Intermediate Level

A slower and steady pace, this class is for those who enjoy a more laid-back cycle ride.

Intermediate / Advanced Level

A slightly more brisk pace with regular stops to regroup, perfect for those who enjoy getting out on a bike once a week or so.

Advanced / Expert Level

A longer session with minimal stops, ideal for those who are able to maintain a faster pace and who enjoy a challenge.

TENNIS

JAMES AUCKLAND

After an impressive career as an ATP professional, GB Davis Cupper and Grand Slam player, James went on to become a professional tour coach, responsible for developing the LTA’s Performance Programmes and assisting the Doubles Team Director.

JAMES AUCKLAND

At PACE, James will be on court hosting a week of lively sessions and workshops in the mornings and afternoons for all levels. Join him and his team on court to get your serve sorted, volleys made vicious and a tuned up topspin. Make sure you try your new skills out in the afternoon challenges and tournament.

KERI-ANNE PAYNE

Keri-anne is an Olympic silver medalist and double world champion for the 10km Open Water Marathon event. After retiring she co-founded two businesses based around open water swimming and coaching. She has qualified 500 coaches and coached over 2000 swimmers to swim more efficiently with her easy to follow swimming methodology. 

KERI-ANNE PAYNE

At PACE, Keri-anne will be applying the tried-and-true Straight Line Swimming (SLS) methodology to provide you with the most efficient path to enhance your front crawl swimming.

SLS methodology dispels outdated myths and steers your attention towards the elements that truly make a difference. This methodology follows a structured sequence, starting with mastering breathing, progressing to body position, and ultimately honing propulsion for your swimming journey.

PERFORMANCE POOL TRAINING

RICHIE NORTON

Richie is a yoga and performance coach with a client roster that reads like an A-List party guest list. After suffering a series of injuries in his former career on the rugby pitch, Richie made the life-changing transition from athlete to coach. He is now an XPT Master Coach, combining meditation and breathwork practices with his life-long passion, yoga.

Alongside breathwork sessions, Richie will also be hosting pool training classes at PACE.

Performance Pool Training

XPT water training is where all three central components of XPT (Xtreme Performance Training): breathe, move, and recover, converge to create a unique fitness method. Pool training is a combination of exercises that are designed to provide a mindful full-body workout, improving mental resilience, physical strength and endurance.

London-based Nike and Barry’s Trainer, Naomi, is not one to shy away from a tough workout. Having recently competed in the Hyrox World Championships in Manchester, she loves to challenge not just herself but her clients too. Expect to leave Naomi’s classes feeling accomplished, and probably a little sweaty!

Naomi will be hosting the following classes throughout the week at PACE.

HIIT Strength
HIIT Strength is a fun and sweaty medium intensity workout based on strength, conditioning and stabilising. This class is designed to be a total body workout, with a mix of short hard work interspersed with rest periods which will leave you energised and ready for the day ahead.

HIIT Cardio
A high intensity workout based on cardio, conditioning and strengthening. This class is designed to get you moving, using agility, speed and high-intensity free weights to leave you feeling ‘done’! Come challenge yourself!

Hyrox Training
Hyrox is an innovative, holistic approach to fitness racing including running and natural movements combined to an unique indoor fitness competition. Join London champion Naomi for a series of hyrox-based workouts throughout PACE week.

Mini Hyrox Leaderboard Competition
Running throughout PACE will be Oyogo’s mini Hyrox leaderboard competition headed up by trainer Naomi. Come test your speed, agility, strength and functional fitness in a series of fun competitions and battle your way to a podium position by the end of the week!

HIIT & RUN
This class will focus on building heat and intensity through cardio intervals, free weights mixed with running sprints to challenge mind and body. Let our expert trainers put you through your paces on hill sprints and circuits – challenging yet satisfying!

Slow Paced Strength
Naoimi love’s form and function, so join her for a slow, strong and sweaty workout. Taking time to focus on strength and conditioning over speed and agility. You will use body weights to concentrate on form and building strength while still getting an exceptional workout. A great low-impact option.

Corrective Exercise
In this class you will work on common muscular imbalances, which we are all prone to, by improving your posture, making your body more robust and ironing out any little niggles. If one of your goals is longevity (if it isn’t it should be) then your body will thank you for this class.

NICK BUTTER

Nick made a name for himself by becoming the first and only person to run a marathon in every country in the world. Nick then went on to run North to South of Italy totting up 100 marathons in 100 days, and then doubled that distance by circumnavigating Britain, running 5,250 miles in 128 days. Safe to say, Nick knows how to run.

NICK BUTTER, OYOGO

The serene Greek roads provide an ideal opportunity to refine your running abilities and explore the picturesque local coastline. Nick will be leading a variety of guided runs throughout PACE week.

5km – Beginners & Intermediate

Join Oyogo coach, Nick, for this 5km lead run session designed to welcome beginners. Start the session with a run-focused warm-up and drills, then set-off as a group on the run. This run is perfect for beginners, with sections of walking placed within the overall distance, allowing new-comers to feel supported in their running journey. Whether you’re looking to kickstart your fitness journey or simply to refresh your love with running, this session is perfect for beginners seeking guidance and camaraderie.

10km – Intermediate & Advanced

A great run for those who are looking to push from 5km to 10km distance. Start the sessions with a run-focused warm-up and drills, then set-off as a group on the run. As a group you will take on 6km of undulating hills to the summit and then a winding 4km down-hill back to the club. There will be pacers on the run for those who want to push themselves and for those who prefer a more relaxed pace with some stopping to catch your breath!

15km – Advanced

You will start the session with a run-focused warm-up and dynamic drills, then you will set-off as a group on this hilly 15km trail and road combination run. This is the perfect run for those who want that extra challenge to push their running abilities on some steep spicy hill sections and some technical downhill segments. A good running base is needed for this session and a ‘let’s go attitude’.

As a track and field athlete, Omar trained under Great Britain Coaches and developed his skills as both an athlete and a coach. Now working in some of the most exclusive gyms in London, with an array of high profile celebratory clients, Omar is also the creator of Track Life LDN, hosting group sessions that help others take their running to a new level.

Omar will be hosting the following classes throughout the week at PACE.

Faster 5k Session

Looking to improve your park run time, or simply looking to give yourself that little bit more confidence in the 5K? Omar is here to help. This session will focus on your tempo pace and how to knock seconds, if not minutes off your PB.

Speedwork & Hill Sprints

Don’t be put off by the title of this session. Warm into some higher tempo intervals, utilising those Greek hills to really maximise your explosive power. With plenty of time to recover, this session is designed to sharpen up your running.

HIIT Strength

A fun and sweaty medium intensity workout based on strength, conditioning and stabilising. Designed to be a total body workout, you’ll experience a mix of short hard work interspersed with rest periods, leaving you energised and ready for the day.

HIIT Cardio

A high intensity workout based on cardio, conditioning and strengthening, this class is designed to get you moving using agility, speed and high-intensity free weights to leave you feeling ‘done’.

HIIT & Run

This class will focus on building heat and intensity through cardio intervals and free weights mixed with running sprints to challenge mind and body. Prepare to be put through your paces with hill sprints and circuits.

Slow Paced Strength

In this class you will use body weights to concentrate on form and building strength whilst still getting an exceptional workout.

Active Recovery
Reset and detox the body with this energising class. Expect a mix of mobility and stretching, as well as low impact cardio sections to flush out lactic acid.

WATERSPORTS

Watersports is a huge part of The Peligoni Club experience. Paddleboarding and kayaking are included with your PACE ticket which includes tuition and equipment. If you are interested in doing any windsurfing and sailing, or motorised watersports, this will incur an additional cost. Read more about watersports here.

TICKETS & INFORMATION

 

For £400, a PACE ticket includes a week’s membership to the club, paddleboarding, kayaking, all fitness and yoga classes, meditation and wellness workshops and a complimentary daily driver service.
