From Masterchef competitors, to Great British Menu winners, we've had an incredible array of talent through our doors recently. Whether or not you're set on always keeping on trend with the latest food scene, our Guest Chef Series allows you to push the boundaries of your palette.
HOW IT ALL WORKS
During June, September and October, we host the very best of the food scene. We’re lucky enough to be able to facilitate almost all styles of cooking using produce local to the island of Zakynthos. Previous talent includes Jackson Boxer, Robin Gill and Thomasina Miers to name but a few.
Each Guest Chef will host two events during their week’s residency. The first will be an evening feast – think long-table dining, like-minded company and indulgent food. The second is typically a pop-up, where the Guest Chef will showcase their food in a street-food style.
The joy of it all? These are menus you’ll never see again. Completely unique to both the chef, and to Peligoni.
1st - 8th June 2024
Ana Ortiz is the chef and co-director of Fire Made, a Somerset-based fire cookery studio run alongside her husband, Tom Bray. The pair design and produce fire cookery equipment for chefs and restaurants worldwide, as well as running South American asado experience days. Bringing her vibrant Ecuadorean food and style of cooking to the UK, Ana’s joy for hosting and entertaining was fulled by her father's passion for cooking over fire.

Adriana spent the last decade and a half honing her craft at some of the best restaurants in the world including the renowned El Bulli. Her first solo restaurant in London, Cavita, is a love letter to her Mexican hometowns: Mexico City and the village of San Felipe Ixtacuixtla. Her food takes guests on a colourful, memorable and ambitious journey, with home at the heart of it all.

Chef, broadcaster and restaurant owner, Julie takes great pride in pulling inspiration from her Malaysian-Scottish roots and is passionate about holding the door open for other women in the industry. Julie opened her first restaurant, GaGa, in Glasgow in 2021 and is currently working on her first recipe book.

Inspired by visits to his mother's allotment as a child, Lewis' passion for produce shines through his cooking. Having worked at some of London's top restaurants including Petersham Nurseries and The Shed in Notting Hill, Lewis is now the head chef at Crispin – a modern European restaurant and wine bar in the Spitalfields, offering seasonal small plates, concise cocktails and low intervention wines.

Legare is a neighbourhood restaurant in London founded in 2019 by Jay Patel (ex Barrafina) with a seasonal, Italian inspired menu with plenty of pasta from Head Chef, Matthew Beardmore (ex Trullo). Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for its unpretentious approach to food, Legare has grown from strength to strength and is currently recognised as one of London’s most up and coming Italians.

Paradise delivers ingredient-focused cooking with a fiery island accent – the vision from owner Dominic Fernando, captivated by his grandmother’s cooking and enchanted by Sri Lanka. Working exclusively with responsible, passionate farmers and fishermen, this London restaurant's menu is guided by weather patterns and produce, utilising vegetables and spices from Sri Lanka with fresh British seafood.
