HOW TO BOOK
1. View our car hire options here. Please note, the prices are based on a 1 week booking.
2. When you have chosen a car please fill in the form below. This process will reserve your car or cars for your holiday at our discounted rate.
3. You will receive a confirmation from AVIS via email once your booking has been confirmed.
In order to benefit from our Airport Fast Track Service, please ensure you fill in all the required fields correctly.
Collecting & Paying
On your arrival at the airport, please head to the AVIS desk to speak to a dedicated Peligoni representative where you will be required to show the drivers licences for all drivers and pay with a credit card.
If your car is being delivered to the club, you should still follow the above. Your car will then be waiting in the car park at the club.
Please ensure that you contact us with enough time for us to confirm your car and that the forms are submitted at least 3 workings days before you arrive at the club. All forms submitted during the weekend will be processed the next working day.
You could say that Zakynthos is a tale of two places. In its south you’ll find a plethora of party-goers, sandy beaches and bustling bars, and in the north, where The Peligoni Club resides, you’ll discover a beautifully untainted way of life. With the occasional ring of a goat’s bell, the peaceful ambience up here will make you feel like you’ve time travelled – and you might not want to go home!
WHAT’S WORTH SEEING
Surrounded by azure waters and swathed in glorious Greek heat in the summer months, Zakynthos is the epitome of rustic and idyllic. The pre-summer rainy season adorns the island with lush vegetation and exquisite flora, so be sure to bring your paints or camera if you’re seeking landscapes to capture.
In the nearby mountain village of Volimes you can buy hand-made lace, bed linen, crocheted bed-spreads, rugs, pottery and honey. Or try an Ouzo with pistachio nuts in one of the tiny bars.
In The South
The bustling capital, Zakynthos town, is an hour away. Destroyed by an earthquake in 1953, the elegant Venetian houses, icon rich churches, museums and a magnificent sweeping harbour have all been faithfully restored. It’s surprisingly cosmopolitan and a pleasant place to wander, dine and shop.
At the southern end of the island, there’s Go Karting, horse riding and a water park.
There are a few select local tavernas that we’ve known and loved for years. Serving plates of amazing local Greek dishes from hearty homemade moussaka to calamari with tzatziki, these spots are the go-to for fantastic local food.
ADVICE & RECOMMENDATIONS
We’ll happily suggest the best local restaurant to satisfy your craving for Greek specialities. Just head to reception for recommendations and reservations.
As our accommodation is either a Saturday or a Sunday changeover, planning a holiday to The Peligoni Club will involve arranging flights over the weekend. For those travelling from London, direct flights with EasyJet and Jet2 can get you to Zakynthos’s airport (ZTH). There are also direct flights from most major UK airports. Skyscanner is a great place to look at availability - sadly this is the only aspect of your holiday we do not arrange for you.
On Sundays there are direct flights from Edinburgh, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham. We recommend using Skyscanner to search and book your flights, and will hold your accommodation for 24 hours whilst you do so.
From Other European Cities
Zakynthos is just an hour’s flight from Athens. There are direct flights to Athens from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland and plenty more European destinations.
Guests venturing from further afield have a little extra travelling to do but it’s still feasible to get to The Peligoni Club from anywhere in the world.
Guests travelling from the USA can hop on a number of direct flights to Europe from either Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Orlando, Seattle, or Washington. There are also flights to Europe from major cities in Canada and South America. International flights to Europe from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand are also frequent. The best port of call is to find a direct flight to London or Athens, and take a direct flight to Zakynthos.
From Nearby Islands
For those who are hopping between the Greek islands, ferries from neighbouring island Kefalonia regularly arrive at the nearby port of Agios Nikolaos which is a five minute drive to The Peligoni Club. We can arrange for your hire car to be picked up there or for a transfer to The Peligoni Club.
Getting To The Peligoni Club From The Airport
As the majority of our guests hire a car, we send them detailed driving directions before they arrive. Depending on your map reading skills, the drive from the airport is approximately 45 minutes. For guests staying in properties within walking distance to the club, we can arrange taxi transfers to collect you from the airport.
With our fleet of Land Rovers, the driver service offers a sensible alternative to driving to and from the club.

BOOKINGS & TERMS
- You can book a lift at reception. Drivers operate on a first-come-first-serve basis, however please be aware a vehicle may not be immediately available if already booked in advance.
- The vehicles can carry a maximum of seven passengers and are only permitted to make a transfer between the villas and the club or the deli.
- Other restaurant drop-offs are unfortunately not possible.
- For late-evening lifts, we kindly ask that guests arrive well before the club closes or else face being left disappointed (and potentially a long walk!).
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when using the driver service.
The reception is your port of call for queries, bookings and anything else you need during your stay. Open from 7am to 9pm.
As we are not like most hotels or beach resorts, it’s only normal that you would have a few questions about your holiday and how things work. Below is a list of the most common queries we get asked. We have tried to answer as many as possible but if there is something you can’t find an answer to, please get in touch with our friendly sales team who will happily help you with whatever query you have.
