At Peligoni, our range of sporting activities gives our guests the chance to enjoy daily workouts and classes in our shaded and fully equipped outdoor gym or in one of many peaceful beautiful locations. From yoga to our weekly triathlon, there’s a sport for everyone to enjoy and take part in during their holiday.

Tennis

Exclusive to our members, The Peligoni Club has two AstroTurf courts located just a short walk from the main club grounds. We also have a resident tennis coach for private lessons and a Tennis Academy for 4 - 12 yr olds.

Court Use

Reserve a court by the hour for private play or take part in our group classes/weekly tournament. All included in the membership.

Private Coaching

Book group or one-to-one lessons with our resident coach, on hand to raise your game.

Tennis Academy For 4 – 12 Yr Olds

A series of sessions and games designed to improve tennis skills whilst having fun.

Booking

Courts are free to use for members and can be booked with reception up to 24 hours in advance. We kindly ask that practice is limited to an hour so that everyone gets a chance to play.

Private Coaching Costs

45€ per hour for up to 3 people

30€ for half an hour

Fitness with OyoGO

This year alongside the yoga team, our partners at OyoGO will be sending out a team of fitness trainers to take on our gym and fitness classes. Working on rotation, a collection of London's most influential trainers will be in residence at the club this summer. Each trainer brings their individual expertise – including circuit training, HIIT sessions and run clubs!

The fitness agenda will be available on your arrival to the club listing all of the classes taking place that week.

Personal Training

Everyone has different fitness styles and specifications, which is why our instructor can conduct private training sessions tailored to your requirements. Whether it’s a gym session, private yoga, coastal run, or in-villa workout you want, we’re happy to make each session unique to you to keep you feeling tip-top throughout your holiday.

Prices

Every day we put on a range of complimentary fitness classes, run by our in-house personal trainer. Simply sign up at reception. Personal training is available at the rates below.

Opening times and rules of use

The gym is open from 7am until dusk.

Under-14s are not permitted and 14-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Lucy Cariney

Trained in Level 3 PT, Core Collective TRX & Circuits
Get ready to work into those deep muscle groups with Lucy’s circuit classes. Her focus is on building strength as well as mobility
with her background in TRX and circuits. You can expect that deep muscle burn but don’t worry you will leave with the post workout
glow.

JJ Tindale

Trained in Level 3 Fitness PT, a Reformer Pilates Instructor & Professional Cheerleader!
Teaches dynamic HIIT sessions, focusing on core and strength work. Bringing in his background in reformer pilates and cheerleader
to help define and sculpt the body. His sessions often include bands, balls, trx and dumbells.

Ruby Tuttlebee

Trained in Level 3 Fitness PT
Her style of teaching focuses on cardio and strength development of the body. Her sessions work you hard with slow pace reps
using weights and work into building muscles and strength.

Dottie Fildes

Trained in Level 3 PT, F45 Circuits, Sweat-it Another Space HIIT
Dottie she’s our engeriser bunny! You can expect high energy HIIT, Box-HIIT and cardio session, so prepare to sweat. She loves to
get things moving and have you working hard in cardio based circuit sessions. Watch out for her run club too.

Maiken Brustad

Trained in Level 3 PT & Group Trainers, Senior Trainer at Blok, Rumble Gym
Maiken’s session work on strength circuits and strength HIIT. She loves to focus on legs, bums and core, so you can except to leave
Peligoni with rock hard abs and an exceptional booty!

Mark Thompson

Trained in Level 3 PT, F45 Trainer
Mark is a powerhouse, his high energy power circuits and will get you feeling unstoppable! His sessions work on a mix of HIIT
circuits and power & strength circuits. Prepare to work hard but leave feeling amazing!

Yoga with OyoGO

Enjoy daily yoga classes taught by our partners from the London-based yoga collective OyoGO, a team of London's best yogis to deliver outstanding yoga to the club, with different instructors taking turns to join us throughout the summer.

OyoGO at Peligoni

Working on rotation, OyoGO’s instructors teach two complimentary daily classes to all levels throughout the season. The weekly schedule will be a mix of familiar yoga styles with a few special sessions tailored to the instructor’s individual skill-set so check with reception for details during your stay. Classes at the club are included in your membership. Private classes can be held at the club or in the comfort of your villa, at an extra cost.

Hannah Paradise

Trained in 200hrs Vinyasa & Yin Yoga
Her focus is on strength and mobility, using yoga for sports recovery and to develop fitness and strength. You can expect her

Bex Parker-Smith

Trained in 200hrs Vinyasa, Yin, Mandala & Power Yoga
Bex’s fun and dynamic classes stem from her 360-degree mandala training, so except to move around the mat and get into twists
and binds you didn’t think possible. She has exceptional hands on assists, to help you deepen you practice.

Laura Turner

Trained in 350hrs Vinyasa & Power Yoga
Power Yoga trained, Laura’s classes will get you sweaty and help to build strength. She is all about connecting breath to movement and focusing on core strength.

Miriam Brightbart

Trained in 200hrs Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Restorative & Yin Yoga
Miriam’s power sessions are not to be missed. She will have you working deep into the core of your muscles and trying postures
and inversions you didn’t realise were possible!

Veronica Kadi

Trained in Ashtanga, Rocket & Mandala Yoga
With her Ashtanga background, Veronica’s classes will have you work in intense postures while developing your breathwork,
helping to focus on those forgot stiff areas of the body.

HIIT Pilates & Physiotherapy

A new addition for summer 2020, we are thrilled to be welcoming a firm friend of the club, Olivia Hamilton, to introduce HIIT Pilates and Physiotherapy sessions, six days a week.

HIIT Pilates

Olivia has created the perfect mix of a fast-paced, high calorie burning workout with posture and core muscle strengthening ensuring you will really feel the burn.

Physiotherapy

With over 20 years of experience Olivia now runs her business from her family home in Wiltshire. In her sessions, Olivia promises to progress existing conditions or address new injuries to provide you with a treatment plan upon leaving the club.

The Gym

The gym and fitness area contains a selection of equipment, free weights and an open exercise floor. It is free to use for members and our highly qualified OyoGO instructors are on hand to help and guide.

Cycling

Surrounded by unspoiled hills, the terrain around The Peligoni Club is ideal for exploration by bike. We have a selection of high performance road bikes, e-bikes and mountain bikes to explore the winding roads either by hosted daily rides or alone.

Hosted Rides

Six days a week we host a guided ride which take you along the coast and up smaller climbs with beautiful views of the Ionian Sea. More taxing rides are also available, with big elevation changes and epic scenery guaranteed.

Triathlon

For guests who love a gruelling challenge, our weekly triathlon was designed with you in mind.

The Triathlon

Starting at the club, The Peligoni Triathlon is comprised of: the island swim of 0.8km, a 5km run and a 10km bike ride. You can do the whole lot or just one leg. The finish line is at The Peli Deli, where celebratory pastries, coffees and waters are provided.

The triathlon usually takes place early on a Friday morning and we may vary the order event races depending on the day’s temperature levels.

THE RUN | 5K

Departing from the club, the runners head along the coast before heading uphill, close to The Peli Deli before heading along the track behind some Peligoni villas. Then, dropping back down onto the coast path and returning to the club.

SHEILA’S SWIM | 0.8KM

Named after the one and only Sheila, one of our most legendary members of staff and founder of our triathlon, Sheila’s Swim is a race around a little island in the local Port of Agios Nikolaos. We whisk you there by boat, drop you off to race around the island, before we all head back to the club. Swimmers stay close to the island and are each attached to a brightly colour buoy. Staff are nearby to lend a hand if needed.

BIKE RIDE | 10K

From the Bike Shed, riders go through the Port, and up the hill past towards Korithi. Then you head left towards Anatoli, all the way up to an Olive Press. Once there, it’s freewheeling all the way down before turning right at the main road turn off. It can also be done on our of our two e-bikes if you want an easier ride!

Then we all finish at The Peli Deli for a little celebration!
