CONDITIONS AND SAFTEY

More than anything, we believe in having fun on the water in a safe and beautiful environment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Peligoni Club is recognised by the RYA as a training centre. We are inspected annually to ensure that we are adhering to the strict safety guidelines. All guests must attend a safety briefing whether it’s their first or 30th year at the club. This will cover all aspects of the waterfront and how to help the beach team keep you safe. During the day, we monitor the wind levels around the club and will always make sure to keep guests informed of any changes to our watersports agenda.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

The weather here is made for watersports. You can usually expect light cross-shore breezes in the morning, giving way to stronger winds in the afternoon. The surface is generally pretty flat, with a bit of wind chop as the wind picks up and larger swells further out into the channel.

The mornings are perfect for beginners, and the afternoons provide great weather for intermediate and advanced. But with our expert instructors, you’ll soon be using the wind to your advantage!
