Maistrali
Maistrali is a beautiful split-level villa, whose owners took cues from the ancient Romans when it came to the house's unique design. Every room is a parallelogram rather than shaped with 90 degree angles – a trick to make spaces feel more intimate and calming. Blending into the hills of north Zakynthos, it has secluded gardens and sweeping terraces overlooking the Ionian sea. Ecologically designed to stay cool in the summer months, it has a wind tower in the centre of the house, which also creates a fantastic architectural centrepiece.
