Why June is the perfect Peligoni month

Two women embrace warmly at an outdoor dinner celebration under string lights, surrounded by guests at long wooden tables with rustic place settings and fresh flowers, creating an intimate and joyful atmosphere amid trees and natural sunlight.
When’s the best time to visit Peligoni? Truly, it’s any time, but for the purposes of this page we’re here to talk about June and why it might be exactly what you’re looking for. The weather is warm but not too hot, the prices are lower than in peak season, The Club has a peaceful ambience before the height of summer and school holidays, and we welcome our chefs in residence to provide mouth-watering feasts under the stars.

First things first – a Peligoni holiday is tailored to suit you. Whether you’re looking for a non-stop week of activities or seven days of pure relaxation on the sun lounger, we’re happy to oblige.

Come with a group of friends, enjoying long-overdue catch-ups over al-fresco lunches that linger on for hours. Come with your partner, embracing the romance of the island and spending quality time together in the most idyllic of settings. Or come by yourself, taking the opportunity to switch off completely or befriend your fellow guests.

At the table

This summer, we’re welcoming a really exciting line-up of guest chefs to headline our ‘At the table’ series, a programme of supper clubs and pop-ups from some of the most exciting emerging names in the business. In June, we're joined by Four Boys (1st - 7th June) and Millie Tsukagoshi Lagares (15th - 25th June).

Four Boys is based in Rock, Cornwall, and named after four brothers: two chefs, a general manager, and a very supportive customer. Opening in March ‘23, they quickly gained a reputation as the go-to spot in Cornwall among those in the know thanks to their unfussy, seasonal approach. Millie is a cook living between Tokyo and London who focuses on the simplicity and flavours of the Japanese home kitchen to create soulful and delicious dishes. They'll be hosting pop-ups and supper clubs that you won't want to miss!

Fitness & wellness

We’re proud to offer our guests a variety of ways to keep active on holiday, with island cycle rides, group tennis sessions, and regular fitness and yoga classes all included as part of your membership. Choosing to stay in June, before the Greek temperatures reach their peak, means you can enjoy a workout that’s delightfully sun-soaked but (hopefully) not too sweaty. Plus, the Ionian is right there when you’re done if you need a cooling dip.

We'll also be welcoming Hollie Grant, a Pilates instructor with over a decade of experience in strength, mobility, and rehabilitation, between 27th May and 4th June as part of the season's wellbeing offering. Included in your membership, Hollie's classes are dynamic and accessible – and a wonderful way to keep up your exercise regime while on holiday.

Watersports

Our watersports offering is another way to get the blood pumping. June conditions are ideal, with flat mornings perfect for a sunrise paddleboard or waterski session, and windier afternoons welcoming budding sailors, windsurfers and wingfoilers. No matter your level, our beach team is on hand to help, whether that’s with dedicated tuition for beginners or simply handing over the equipment to experienced enthusiasts and letting you do your thing.
