The Peligoni Club is the ideal location for family holidays in Greece. Our on-site crèche allows parents with children aged three months to three years to leave their little ones in safe hands so they can have some much needed time to themselves.
A Little Haven
The Peligoni Crèche is designed to be a safe haven where parents can leave their little ones in the care of our fully-qualified nannies from 9am until 6pm every day throughout the season. Located behind the Courtyard, the crèche has a quiet sleeping area and a separate playroom with an incorporated outdoor play area. There are nappy changing facilities and a child-friendly bathroom in the crèche, along with all the relevant safety and first aid equipment.
Little crèche cruisers can make a splash in the paddling pool, go on small adventure walks, take part in all sorts of ball games, tower building and plenty of sandpit fun. They’ll explore mark making with various objects and materials, create little masterpieces with paints and chalks, and enjoy a whole host of messy play involving jelly and wonderfully fun homemade gloop! The crèche also hosts regular garden treasure hunts and plenty of music time.
Our nannies are highly experienced and carefully selected to provide the best rounded childcare options for our crèche. Furthermore we are one of the few beach clubs that provide childcare for babies and toddlers aged three months and above.
Freedom For Parents
We understand that on holiday you want some time to do something as ordinary as read the news or go for swim and with the combination of our daytime crèche with evening in-villa services, (be it babysitting or villa hosting), parents get to dictate the holiday schedule.
What makes Peligoni’s crèche so special is its flexibility. I enjoyed my first lie-in in months because my husband dropped our little one off with team before going to a gym class. In the evenings we booked villa hosts to handle all the entertaining whilst our baby slept upstairs – it meant we could enjoy an evening with friends without having to pay extra for childcare. The villa-to-club set up makes the difference.
KEY CRECHE QUESTIONS
As you may have a lot of questions regarding the crèche, our Childcare Manager, Vikki Arkel, has answered the top ten most common queries for you here.
With over 15 years in childcare, Vikki has extensive experience working in nurseries and crèche spaces both in the UK and high-end holiday destinations.
I find great satisfaction in providing a safe space for children to be free and adventurous, so parents have that valuable time to go for a swim or finally read that book they’ve been meaning to. It’s my job to create a safe and fun space for children so parents feel they can have time for themselves on that much needed holiday.
WHAT ARE THE RATIOS OF NANNY TO CHILD?
We work on UK ratios, which is one nanny to two under 2s. Then for children between the ages of 2 and 4, we allocate one nanny to four children. At full capacity, our crèche can accommodate 14 children with six nannies at the helm. Under 2s each have a cot allocated for the week that is theirs only.
WHEN DOES MY CHILD’S CRÈCHE SPACE BEGIN?
A crèche space is for 7 days with the first day being the day after your arrival and the final day being the day of departure. If you require the crèche on the day of your arrival, you will need to request this at reception once you have arrived at the club. If there is space in the crèche we will accommodate.
WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF THE CRÈCHE, HOW FLEXIBLE IS IT? CAN I DROP OFF/PICK UP AT ANY TIME?
We are open between 9am and 6pm every day. You are free to use the crèche however you want and can drop off/ pick up your child/children whenever suits you and as many times as you like throughout the day. We will have a nanny on hand from 7am to allow parents to take part in a club activity such as early morning yoga, but is this subject to our ratios and can only be arranged at the club. We will do our best to be as flexible and supportive to your needs throughout your holiday and can discuss this when we meet on your arrival day.
IS IT SECURE?
The Peligoni Crèche is set in a large secure garden space with CCTV at each entrance. The doors are locked which only nannies have the code to and parents can access by ringing the doorbells. The secure yet open plan garden gives children lots of freedom and parents peace of mind.
WHAT DO YOU SUPPLY IN TERMS OF NAPPIES/STERILISERS & FOOD?
To make holiday life easier we provide all nappies and food whilst children are in the crèche, which means you don’t have to remember to bring them with you to the club. This includes unlimited fruit and healthy snacks as well as a freshly prepared balanced lunch and kids supper meaning parents are free to remain relaxed as the evening sets in. We also sell baby food and nappies on our shopping service that can be delivered to your villa.
IS IT AIR CONDITIONED AND SHADED?
There is plenty of shade from many trees and a UV proof outside/inside area. We also have a fully air conditioned inside space with a dedicated sleep room so our youngest guests can have a peaceful nap.
CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE TEAM AND THEIR QUALIFICATIONS?
Our crèche team staff are all CACHE qualified at Level 2 or 3 or equivalent.
CAN I GET ANY UPDATES WHILST MY BABY IS IN THE CRECHE DURING THE DAY?
We have a crèche phone which means that you can keep in touch with us throughout the day. Myself and the nannies will send you regular Whatsapp updates and and you will get an end of day report.
CAN I LEAVE MY BABY AT THE CRECHE AND LEAVE THE CLUB?
Parents of children with weekly crèche membership may leave their child with us if they are going on a Peligoni excursion such as a Yacht trip or a Shipwreck visit. We are unable to accept any children if parents want to leave the club but can provide babysitting services in the evening should you want to go out for dinner.
DO THE CHILDREN STAY IN THE CRECHE ALL DAY OR DO THEY GO ON EXCURSIONS?
We do like to take them around the club on little adventure trails but we will never leave the club grounds.

Complimentary Babease food for Peligoni Guests
We have partnered with Babease, whose range of nutritionally balanced, veg-led food for babies will be complimentary to members this summer.
Founded by chef, Tom Redwood, Babease is built upon the belief that introducing your little ones to amazing tastes and textures at an early age is the best way to raise healthy, adventurous eaters – we couldn’t agree more.
Babease products use organic ingredients, made in small batches and never hide a fruit behind a vegetable! They don’t add salt, sugar or preservatives, just herbs, and spices – ‘only the good stuff’. Their recipes use every ingredient for a reason and are written by Tom and a talented team of nutritionists and dieticians. Furthermore, their packaging lists ingredients in order of quantity with a unique ‘ingredient wheel’ to show parents exactly what their babies are eating, even at a glance.
You can order up to three complimentary sachets per child aged between 4 to 10 months when you order your shopping list. If you would like more, please ask at the Deli.
